[ Of course he knows that he isn't fine, that much is pretty loud and clear to him. He takes a step closer, the tone of his voice growing a bit softer. ]

Damn. I was afraid of something like that - I mean... I saw Saki-senpai. And I knew that wasn't real, b-but... [ He takes a deep breath. ] I'm glad we're out of there, too.

[ Then, he gets a little angry - his own hands balling into fists at his sides. ] What the hell did they even do that for, anyway?! Talk about playing dirty...

[ Yu's own expression shifts in sympathy at what Yosuke says. They both had it rough in there, didn't they? ]

Maybe just to rile us up. I've been hearing some pretty strange things about CERES from the other people who are here. We should talk about that, speaking of. [ He pauses, glancing around. ] And maybe find someplace to stay. [ The way he looks at Yosuke is a question. That question being: a place to stay together? ]

Yeah? I bet it's just as strange as what I've heard. If not worse.

[ Someplace to stay... he catches the question in that look on his partner's face, and he nods. Well, one of 'em's gotta say it out loud, right? ]

Good idea. Someone told me we can pretty much just pick somewhere, so... We should pick somewhere together.

[ Safety in numbers. In sticking together. The familiar. You know... all of that good stuff. ]

[ Yu smiles a little and nods. Circumstances could be better - a lot better - but living with his best friend sounds like it could be fun. He'll nod and start them walking, no real destination in mind except someplace they both end up liking. ]

So what have you heard?

For starters? Don't trust anything. [ Sigh. ] Like that's hard.

[ He walks beside him, of course. He's keeping his eyes open for anywhere that stands out, but honestly, his mind is more on the conversation, 'cause it's gonna be a lot to share as well as a lot to take in, and he knows that. ]

Also that... Apparently? I was here before. Which, you know, kinda goes right along with the not trusting anything thing.

[ Yu considers that statement for a second. ]

Did Hino-san speak to you as well?

[ And now, he looks a bit... guilty. ]

She told me that I was here, and that we were really good friends. But now? I can't remember any of that. ... It kinda sucks.

Yeah. [ There's sympathy in his voice, for both of them. ] I guess that's what being returned to the Nexus code does to you. But if she spoke to you, that saves us a lot of time. I was going to tell you what I heard from her.

[ Nod! ] Yeah, it's probably pretty much the same. Man... we talked for a while, and even though I don't remember her? Doesn't matter. I feel like I owe her one for all the help.

[ A small smile - he's serious about making sure that Rei and he stay on okay terms. ]

So who else did you get to talk to?

A couple of different people. [ He pauses, sort of mentally shuffling through them. ]

Hiro Hamada was one of them. You might like him. [ Yu grins, unable to help himself. ] He punched Isis in the face.

[ Yes, Isis, his persona. You know, by extension punching Yu himself in the face. ]

[ He's just about to mention that they played tetris together, actually, but then he mentions the kid punching Isis in the face. djfakl And while his first instinct is to ask if his partner is okay, the fact that he's clearly grinning about it means he must be. Obviously. As if a punch could really take him down anyway (as they both found out...) So instead, he laughs, completely surprised. ]

Seriously?! He did that?! Oh man! Yeah, I met him in the ViViD games, but I wouldn't have expected him to punch your persona, dude! What the hell did he even do that for?
